This has to be one of the most delicious guilt free deserts that you can have anytime. An ice cream machine makes the job a whole lot easier but isn't essential.
1 Litre Plain full cream Greek Yoghurt
1 Cup fresh mango, pureed
1 tsp lemon zest (optional)
2 Scoops vanilla whey protein powder
If you are using an ice cream maker, freeze the bowl for at least 24 hours before starting. Otherwise, place a metal bread tin in the freezer to chill.
In a large bowl, combine the yoghurt and whey, mixing well.
Puree a cup of fresh sliced mango in your food processor or NutriBullet
Mix the mango and lemon zest into the yoghurt.
Turn on your ice cream machine and gradually add the yoghurt mixture, half a cup at a time.
Depending on your machine, your frozen yoghurt should be ready to eat within 45 minutes.
If you are not using an ice cream machine, pour it into the cold container. Take out and mix every 30 minutes to prevent crystals forming until frozen.
